Blogizomai - 2012 Presidential Debate 10: Republican Hopefuls Make Their Case

Saturday night when most Americans were watching football, the GOP Presidential candidates gathered together and debated foreign policy on CBS. Of all of the debates thus far, this one was the slowest with the least excitement (from what I've seen) and with the smallest audience. I'm not sure why CBS and the others scheduled this debate for prime time on Saturday night in the middle of football season, but nonetheless its focus on foreign policy is significant. The economy and the national debt are justifiably the leading issues and the most debated issues in this campaign and will likely dominate 2012 general election. But where these candidates stand on particular national security issues is important to say the least.

Going in, it seemed like there were two questions that people wanted answered.  First, did Herman Cain know anything about foreign policy and could he articulate with clear knowledge of the issues a foreign policy plan that is credible and would increase his appeal?  Its no secret that Cain's biggest weakness is foreign policy.  Secondly, what sort of crazy things would Ron Paul say?

Nonetheless, here is the debate.  For those in the East, CBS only aired the first hour.  Below is the entire 90 minute debate.
