Remembering Fathers: Obama & Romney Promote Dadhood

Last Sunday was Father's Day and in response, both Presidential campaigns released web-ads promoting their candidate as a good father. We must interpret these ads as that - political ads trying to use emotion to get the view to favor their candidate. But with that said, I am pleased to see the campaigns making a special effort to zero in on fathers emphasizing their role as dads. If there is one thing I love about President Obama it is his emphasis on dads being present. President Obama never had a dad around and has encouraged fathers, as the President, to raise their children.

Nonetheless, here are the two ads. Both are well done.

President Obama

Mitt Romney
